Âmesoeur Bistro | Wyburn & Wayne Cardiff Times

Firstly, everyone must try The Amesoeur Bistro on Crwys Rd, I want this place to be a big success, I need this place to be a big success, cause this is the kind of eating experience I want to be able to enjoy for the rest of my life. This finely decorated Bistro serves up the best sharing platters I've ever tried, we chose eight different dishes and each was an absolute delight. Each dish was incredible and was hard to pick a favourite, all washed down with some fine wine, making the night even more enjoyable. Big credit to owner/manager Donna who has executed her dreams to create a great place to eat serving up a massive selection of dishes with a menu that has something for everyone. The Amesoeur get a massive thumbs up from us and I can't wait to return. Great food at affordable prices in a beautifully decorated Bistro, what more could you want!

X Scream | Rhondda Heritage Park

The hills are alive with the sounds of SCREAMING! Head up to the valleys this Halloween for the ultimate scare experience at the Rhondda Heritage Park. X Scream will have you filled with anticipation from the moment you enter the grounds. Distant screams and flashing lights help build up the suspense for what your about to witness! I won't go into details as I wouldn't want to give too much away but your treated to a post apocalyptic zombie fest that will scare even the toughest visitor to X Scream. Great detail has been put into creating this horror setting and massive credit must be given to the actors who pull off some Oscar worthy zombie performances! And at the end of the terror experience you get to wind down in the horror bar where your seat is a bundle of hay and your table is a coffin! Treat yourself this Halloween to the ultimate Horrorthon, it's such a fun night out and a must do for any thriller seeking horror addict. Certainly not for the light hea

Mamma Mia! | Wales Millennium Centre

This glorious ABBA musical is so much fun, your cheeks will ache from smiling for two hours. The cast are superb and genuinely look like they are having the time of their lives belting out those ABBA classics. Mamma Mia is now in its 18th year and shows no sign of slowing down, constantly playing to sell out crowds in the West End and on its UK tour. The reason for its success is down to the songs, when Benny and Bjorn penned those classic tunes decades ago little did they know those hits would go on to inspire a Musical and also a smash hit movie. Mamma Mia has earned its place alongside shows like Grease and The Sound Of Music it's a show you can never tire of. The cast in this production are just incredible and as well as having pitch perfect vocals they perform some great comedy throughout the performance, like I said earlier your cheeks will ache from smiling. Sara Poyzer (Donna) delivers an outstanding rendition of 'The Winner Takes It All' and there's some great

Little Shop Of Horrors | New Theatre Cardiff

Wow... just wow! Without a doubt the best show I've seen in a long time. The cast which includes Rhydian Roberts as the sadistic dentist are superb. This production of Little Shop Of Horrors will delight any fan of the 1986 cult musical directed by Frank Oz. Each song is delivered with amazing vocals and whether your familiar with the soundtrack or are experiencing the show for the first time, the songs will be stuck in your head for the rest of the night! Stephanie Clift and Sam Lupton are perfectly cast as Audrey and Seymour and their show stopping performance of Suddenly Seymour will send a shiver down your spine. We are all aware of the huge vocal talent Rhydian possesses due to his appearance on X Factor and his acting and comedy skills are as equally outstanding as that voice we are all familiar with.  Huge credit must also be given to the puppetry and technical team involved in the show, the stage is incredible and the guys which operate Audrey 2 are flawless with perfe
