Melanie C Meets Wyburn & Wayne



Today we met up with former Spice Girl girl, Melanie C AKA Sporty Spice - who's currently doing a whistle stop tour of the UK radio stations, promoting her new album 'Version Of Me' and performing acoustic versions of the amazing new single 'Anymore'.

Mel C - Hi Guys how're you?

Wayne - Amazing thanks, huge fans! Nathan here has done a portrait of you today!

Wyburn - yes this is for you! I've been a fan for 20 years!!

Mel C - oh my god! You are amazing!! Thank you is it really for me?

Wyburn - Yes of course, it's an absolute honour!

W&W - So Mel, how're you finding the radio tour? Tiring?

Mel C - Yeah it's great, it's just a lot of car journeys! It's great to be out there singing the new song!

W&W - We love it! And we have our tickets for your intimate evening show in London!

Mel C - Yes that's so exciting, I can't wait for everyone to hear the album! We've sold out two exclusive dates (Oct 10/11th) at Under The Bridge in London. I'll be holding a Q&A and performing a live set and there's also a listening session of the new album in full!

W&W - We can't wait! Great to have you back in Cardiff Mel, thanks for your time and best of luck with the new album!

Back in 1990 Madonna took stardom to dizzy heights no star had experienced before. She had a massive number one hit on her hands (Vogue), was in a hit film (Dick Tracy) and embarked on a World Tour that would have the whole world talking! Tonight is your last chance to catch ‘Secured’, a comedic look into life at a Security Surveillance Office. Performing tonight at AJ’s Coffee House, City Road at 7pm, tickets are only £5. “Two men staring at a set of CCTV monitors doesn't sound like the most auspicious of settings for a comedy but the opening of Secured belies what is to come. Performed by James Sarson, Aaron Price and the walkie-talkie-fied Melanie Stevens, Unsecured is a bright, funny play with some surprisingly touching elements that really do make you connect with the characters.
