Hello Cabaret


Hello Cabaret is a monthly event that celebrates musical theatre and Welsh talent through intimate performances of show tunes and contemporary stories. Founded by musical director and creative genius Dan Fulham, this event brings together passionate, promising individuals to showcase their talent in venues throughout Cardiff and Swansea. April’s event took place in Cardiff’s heart and hub of musical theatre, the Wales Millennium Centre. The evening was packed with exciting performances from artists Hywel Dowsell, Jac Yarrow, Lloyd Macey, Millie Davies, Lois Meleri, and Caitlin McKee; featuring a varied collection of songs from shows such as Spamalot, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Avenue Q, and the show-stopping Rent. The cast of the UK touring production of Rent even joined these artists for a one-off late night set, making the evening even more unique and memorable. Hello Cabaret is definitely one of South Wales’ hidden gems and is not to be missed!

Strike A Pose : Interview With Carlton Wilborn

Back in 1990 Madonna took stardom to dizzy heights no star had experienced before. She had a massive number one hit on her hands (Vogue), was in a hit film (Dick Tracy) and embarked on a World Tour that would have the whole world talking! The Blond Ambition Tour broke boundaries and the box office, it was the hottest ticket of the year. And if you wasn’t lucky enough to get a ticket, the tour was made into a rockumentary which featured Madonna on stage, on the road and in bed with Madonna. B*Witched Interview: Wyburn & Wayne

B*Witched are back! And they are coming to Cardiff to play Pride Cymru. With hits like C'est La Vie & Rollercoaster their performance is set to be one of many highlights to expect at this years Pride. We had a chat with Edele & Sinead about what it's like to be back and what to expect at their Cardiff gig. W&W: Hi Girls, so how does it feel being back together in B*Witched? Edele: It's incredible being with the girls, we just have such a great time together. It's almost more fun now days without the pressure of chart positions etc. It's about the performance, eachother and our audience and getting all of that on board together and that's where the magic happens.
